Terms of Use

 

1. Introduction

1.1 Viraé Pilates (“VP”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates www.viraepilates.com.

 

1.2 These Terms of Use, together with any documents referenced herein, explain how you may access our studios, attend Pilates classes, use our fitness services (the “Services”) and join the Viraé Pilates online booking system. Please read them carefully before using any Service.

 

1.3 By registering for or using any Service, you accept these Terms in full. They form a binding agreement between you and VP; breach of any provision may lead to suspension or termination of your account and Services access. Attendance at any class implies your acceptance.

 

1.4 We may amend these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified at our discretion. Continued use after an update indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms. Last updated May 2025.

 

1.5 We reserve the right to alter, suspend or discontinue any Service or feature without notice. Availability of studios, sites or facilities is not guaranteed.

 

1.6 In addition to these Terms, you must also comply with:

  • Our Privacy Policy;

  • Booking Policy;

  • Any notices, rules or house policies displayed at our premises or otherwise communicated to you.
     

 

2. Account Registration

2.1 Eligibility
You must be:

  • Aged 18 or over, or

  • Aged 16–17 with written parental/guardian consent and always accompanied by an appropriate adult;

  • Fit to participate—please seek medical advice if in doubt.
     

2.2 Required Information
To sign up via our Website or App, you’ll need to provide:

  • Full name;

  • Valid email address;

  • Password;

  • Home address;

  • Gender;

  • Payment details (card or bank account), processed securely by Stripe;

  • Any other data we reasonably request.
     

2.3 Accuracy
You warrant that all details you supply are correct and kept up to date.

 

2.4 Refusal of Registration
We may decline any application in our absolute discretion.

 

2.5 Liability
You are responsible for any damage or injury you cause on VP premises and agree to reimburse us for reasonable costs on presentation of an invoice.

 

3. Studio Classes & Credit Packs

3.1 General
All classes, memberships and packs run for the durations shown on our Website or timetable. Purchases may be made online (preferred) or via bank transfer. Pricing is subject to change at our discretion.

 

3.2 Memberships/Block bookings

  • Activate immediately on purchase, with a minimum term as stated in the block/plan name.

  • Cancellations for packages will only apply for any unused classes if cancelled within 1 month of purchase.

  • Personal to you—non-transferable and non-shareable.
     

3.3 Credit Packs

  • Valid from first use, expiring as follows:

    • Single session: 1 month;

    • 5-class pack: 3 months;

    • 10-class pack: 6 months.
       

  • Extensions only for verified medical reasons (doctor’s note), or in the event the studio is closed and you have a regular session booked, or the studio is closed for an extended period of time e.g., holidays, the packages will be extended for the equal amount of time.
     

  • Non-transferable and non-shareable.
     

3.4 Payments
All transactions use debit/credit cards via Stripe. You may incur fees from your card issuer; VP is not responsible for such charges. In-studio and telephone bookings are also cashless.

 

3.5 Promotions & Marketing

  • Promo codes apply only to specified plans, as confirmed in writing.

  • Purchase automatically opts you into our marketing list; you may unsubscribe at any time (excluding essential service emails).
     

4. Cancelling & Closing Your Account


4.1 You may close your account via the Website or by contacting your studio—this does not cut short any active membership period.
4.2 We may close your account for breach of these Terms.
4.3 After cancellation or closure, you retain access until the end of your current billing cycle or pakage.

 

5. Class Cancellations & Attendance

5.1 Standard Classes

  • Cancel at least 12 hours before your class to retain the credit.

  • Cancelling within 12 hours forfeits the credit.
     

5.2 No-Shows & Late Arrival

  • No refunds for missed classes.

  • Late arrivals may join at the instructor’s discretion but will finish at the scheduled end time.

  • First-timers must arrive 10 minutes early for induction—failure to do so may result in denied entry and loss of credit.

     

6. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
